Athena 4- Grooming Telemachus, Pylos

When we arrived  at Pylos
In which Nestor, the famed horse rider
Resides once again
I bolstered Telemachus' heart
He had to remember he was on a rightful voyage
He was searching for any news on his father's fate
It was a noble quest, not to be shameful of
He is so shy that sometimes I wonder
If I am not losing my mind
He is so respectful of customs
That he might not even dare to address
This ancient King surrounded by his large family.
His son Pisistrate welcomed us
Offered us hospitality
And to take part in the festivities
Dedicated to Poseidon
I couldn't refuse
I took the opportunity
To offer praise to my old enemy
Whilst knowing he couldn't hear me.
